Aqui-Pak Lower Sukhumvit Darts League Season XIV - Round 3 Flaming Moe’s Back to Winning Ways Three-times champions Flaming Moe’s have begun their fight-back after a rocky start to the season in the Aqui-Pak Darts League, while Domino Inter and the Peli-Can lead their respective divisions. Season fourteen of the Lower Sukhumvit League has started in a mixed-up way with surprise results and some unexpected wins and losses. Even at this early stage only three teams have taken the maximum points available from their games, and each has already had their bye for the first half. Wild Job, Domino Titans and the Down Under Wabbalies have each won two from two, but all other teams have already had a draw or loss. Perhaps most surprising amongst these are Flaming Moe’s who only this week won the first of their three games despite having been overwhelming champions without loss over the previous three seasons. Currently standing in fourth place they have a bye in round four. Domino Inter lead the first division by one point from Wild Job and the two teams meet tonight in round four. In division two the Peli-Can narrowly lead the Down Under Wabbalies on game points. Congratulations to Willem of New Cowboy who managed a one-hundred-and-eighty: a shame really about only having 161 left at the time! League Notices Completing Scoresheets: Mistakes are being made! It is each captain's responsibility to make sure both that they get it right and help the opposition keep theirs right too. If, for instance, a leg is only awarded on one of the scoresheets it will not be awarded! The Mouse team game should not be counted as a leg in the final total. Mickey Mouse: The team game must be played by a minimum of three players, but a team can include more if they wish, as there are no individual achievements awarded. Teams just rotate as normal in whatever line-up they choose. There are three ways to win: close everything and be in the lead; or gain a lead of two-hundred; or the opponent can choose to resign the game at any point. Submitting Scoresheets: Come on people, get your fingers out! We get our results in the Bangkok Post and to do that for us they like the results in by Friday. When scoresheets come late, it makes life hard for those of us that are running this for you. Every sheet please, and by the end of the Wednesday, the day after the match. Everybody please. Teams failing to submit three times during the season will have one match point taken away. League Stories: If there are any little fun stories that occur during the matches it is nice to mention them. Tell Johnny or email them to darts@bamboosiam.com and we'll put them into the write-ups. Starting Time: The official starting time that we have voted on in the past is eight o'clock. Because we are a fun league, we grant leeway to eight thirty, but if the captains have not been in touch by then, or if no-one from one team has arrived, then the singles can be claimed by the team that are there. If there has been no contact by quarter-to-nine then the whole match is forfeit. This applies regardless of whether it is the home or visiting team that are late. Results
