Season XIII - Round 6League Leaders Face Off The four leading teams in the John Smith’s Darts league met in round six, with the two Domino teams (Inter and Titans) in a home derby. Domino Inter were three points down after the second doubles but pulled off a clean two-leg third double followed by a win in the team game to ensure their share of the match points. Across at the Offshore, the home team started well but couldn’t hold the second and third doubles which left them with the team game needed for a draw. Flaming Moe’s were too strong though, and their six-four away win gave them the two match points they were looking for and second place in the Division One table. Domino Inter therefore keep their lead at the head of the first division, with Moe’s and the Titans only a point behind. In Division Two, leaders The Moe Syzlak Experience made the best of their chance to stamp their authority on the division while playing against second placed Silver Dollar. Their seven to three home victory saw them extend their lead in the table to five, and with two teams to be promoted will already be eyeing the four teams at the tail of the first who are struggling so far this season. Behind Moe’s the second tier remains very competitive, with only three points separating the remaining seven teams. This week sees more fixtures across the top as Flaming Moe’s host Domino Inter in a clash for the Division One leadership, and Domino Titans host the Offshore Overboards.
