Season XIII - Round 5

Top Four Race Ahead

The top four teams in Division One of the John Smith’s Lower Sukhumvit Darts League all won on Tuesday, effectively splitting the division.  Leaders Domino Inter took six of the ten points playing away at Bully Cobras, despite Komsan’s 180 and Tony’s 104 high close for the home team.  Second placed Domino Titans used home advantage to take their six points from Cowboy Job.  Flaming Moe’s were at home, and beat the Lazy Pelicans eight to two, and travelling to Cat’s Meow, the Offshore Overboards won seven to three.  This results in an exciting battle at the top of the division, where the four leaders look destined to have a tight chase for season honours.

Division Two is spread more evenly in points terms, though leaders The Moe Syzlak Experience still retain a perfect five from five record after Tuesday’s nine-one away victory at D’Pelican Inn.  Blues On The Rocks claimed their first win of the season away to the Moonshine Assassins, the Wabbalies gifted a forfeit to Silver Dollar, and Captain Dave would be delighted to see the Shining’s good run returning with a seven point away win over Domino Stone.

This week sees some great match-ups with the Flaming Moe’s eagerly looking forward to their chips at the Offshore, and the Titans and Inter meeting in a Domino home derby.  There’ll be relief at the bottom too with good chances for points in the lower half of the Division.
