The Lower Sukhumvit Darts League.Season Ten Results and Standings.
Game Report - BLUES GO TOPThere seemed to be a great atmosphere in each of the venues as season ten kicked into life. The existing teams seemed happy to be back, and the new teams were enjoying their first taste of it all. Charlie was the hero of the Starlight Blues as his performance took his team to a nine-one away victory over Silver Dollar. Taxi and his Dutch Dons also started the season with a win away from home as they took on newcomers Flaming Moe's. New team the Hi-Tech Divers managed the same feat, beating Graeme's New Cows seven-three. Cat's Meow scored the only home victory of the night, beating Midnight Cowboys six-four. A local derby saw Offshore face "The Job" at their latest new home, and the match resulted in a draw. Ten players managed to put in individual performances that earned them individual points tallies into double figures, and there were (at least?) two maximums scored, those being Meow and Graeme. For those who are new to the individual points, and for those who can never remember anyway, a singles victory scores three points, each close earns two, there are two additional points for any close that is one hundred or over, and one additional point for any ton that is a 180. League Notices Okay, here's the telling off. Yes, it was the start of the new season, but the scoreshits were full of errors. There were checks crossed out or liquid-papered out and not filled in again properly, there were scores on one sheet that weren't on the other, there were missing Mickey Mouse scores, and there were achievements not recorded in the hi-checks/180s box. It sounds pretty obvious, but if the scoresheets don't say what happened, then the results and standings won't represent what happened! Please stick to the following to make sure everything runs smoothly:
Please remember also not to count the Mickey Mouse as a leg at the base of the sheet. If you're interested, this is because each leg is awarded to a player, but the MM cannot be, so not counting it makes sure that the number of legs scored by a team is equal to the number of legs scored in total by the players of that team.
