The Lower Sukhumvit Darts League. Season VIIIResults - Round 9 - 6/4/04
League Table
Game Report - Round 9 - Top of the Table Clash! The star attraction of the ninth round of the league was a clash between the joint leaders on fourteen points: Startlight Blues vs Cat's Meow. Cat's were leading the table on points difference, and the Blues had high hopes. Unfortunately for them, it was not to be, and after taking all three singles, Bill checked twice in the second doubles, guaranteeing at least five points. With Lui having checked both legs of the first doubles, Julian continued the trend taking the third doubles to leave open the possibility of a draw. A hard-fought Mouse went to the Cats, meaning that they took home two points clear at the top of the table. In third place in the table, Star Job visited Offshore and again the Mouse was needed to ensure victory. Away at Corleone's, Offshore Overboards also took the Mouse for the third of the six-four away victories of the evening. Down at New Cowboy, the Mouse could have had the same effect, but the home team, the Evicted Ones had battled back from four-nil down and weren't going to be stopped, so a draw was the outcome. Peter of Offshore Overboards put in a fine individual performance, joining the over-twenties club with 21 points. Tom achieved a 180 during his match, only the season's fourth. Graeme continues to lead the individual table, despite losing his second singles of the season so far. This leaves three players with seven singles from nine, and a further two with six singles from nine. A table of the top sixteen singles winners, checkers, and ton scorers is included below. Graeme heads all three columns, but not everything else is obvious after that, and it just shows how different people go about scoring their individual points! League NoticesIt will not have escaped anyone's attention that Songkran has arrived. Tuesday 13th therefore has no matches, with round ten scheduled for the 20th. Some Top Sixteens
