The Lower Sukhumvit Darts League. Season VIIIResults - Round 4 - 2/3/04
League Table
Game Report - Round 4 - Overboards Triumph! In the early rounds of the league things change quickly, their effects exaggerated by the low number of games played, but as time progresses the true picture usually starts to emerge. In round four, the Cats lost but stayed top, the Job won but dropped a place, Graeme handed over to Tom, Dylan returned and his ton was a good one In a 24-ton match at the chip shop, Offshore Overboards took the scalp of the leaders Cat's Meow. Mr Nok won his singles, but with the Overboards taking the other two singles (Peter and Mike winning) and the first two doubles, the result was certain with two games to go. Cat's pulled back though, Nok and Kai taking the third doubles and the team taking the Mouse to leave the final result at Overboards six, Cats four. The loss for Cats uses up the safety margin that they had built up at the top, and while they still lead the table it is now only on game points difference. Captain Taxi kicked his team off to a great start taking the first singles against Starlight Blues. The Blues had different ideas of the outcome they would like however, and shook themselves down and took the rest of the points for the evening, promoting themselves to second in the process. In the local derby in Washington Square, Silver Dollar travelled a few metres down the road to visit Star Job at Texas Lone Star. The lead kept changing hands, and by the end of the doubles the Dollar needed the Mouse to draw, but the hosts had the edge and came away with six points. Graeme added less individual points than usual to his tally, and dropped to second place in the table accordingly, only one point ahead of Kenny and Trond who are level on 45 points. At New Cowboy, The Evicted Ones met Lighthouse, and took eight of the ten points. Dylan returned for the hosts, and his one ton of the evening was a maximum, only the second 180 of the four rounds played so far. Tom and Trond both had good performances, which see them now standing at first and third respectively, with Tom drawing out a small lead at the top. Individual Standings
