Tom will not be looking
forward to any predictions here, as last weeks’ forecast came true,
unfortunately for his Evicted Ones! Having played five weeks, they have
now ended up slipping from P1 after week one, one position at a time
down to P5 after week five. Their swapping of positions in the table
with Kenny’s ACSP was the only positional change in the table, despite
Cat’s Meow joining everyone else in having suffered at least one loss.
Starlight Blues played
The Evicted Ones at New Cowboy, and secured their second victory. Tom’s
singles victory meant that he earned enough individual points to propel
himself up the individual table into second, which will hopefully make
up for his team travelling in the opposite direction in the team table.
Taxi and Gavin can take similar comfort, as both of them won their
singles to help them secure their places in the top 16, although these
proved to be the only points that The Texas Rangers would take from
their home encounter against Cat’s Job. In a game postponed until
Wednesday, Offshore travelled to Silver Dollar, and left victorious with
all but two of the legs (darts legs, now come on!) , which provided some
relief for Jon, as he got those two legs in the third double to get the
team’s only points.
Kenny remains at the top
of the table individually, although we can only wonder how long we will
have to wait for Andy to catch up, having put in a 180 in his second
week back in the league, and having put himself into the top 16 in only
two matches!
Week six sees the Texas
Rangers travel to challenge ACSP at Moonshine Joint, and the two Cat’s
teams have a home engagement. Charlie’s Starlight Blues, with Andy and
Tony newly joined visit Silver Dollar, and The Evicted Ones make the
longest journey the league can manage, away from New Cowboy all the way
to Offshore!
