Game Report.

 

ANDY WINS, CHEQUERS’ CHECKERS WIN.

 

In the final round of the season Offshore Overboards managed to hold off Chequers’ Checkers, and in doing so guaranteed their third place.  Chequers’ Checkers had already secured the top spot, but left the season as they entered it, having lost the first game of the season to Maximus.  Maximus had also already secured their spot in the table, and in beating Moonshine Joint allowed Buffalo Rangers to leapfrog into fourth place.  Andy of course takes the honours in the individual table, by 44 points!  Kenny of Maximus came second, only three points ahead of Peter of Offshore Overboards.  Following on 117 and 115 points are the Moonshine Joint boys, Johnny and Ned, with Kevin of Chequers’ Checkers being the last of the top six who managed over one hundred individual points.

Individual Statistics

 

Every player that played in the league is detailed here.  Andy won almost everything, with the most singles victories, the most closes, the most tons, and therefore the most points.  He didn’t however win everything!  The high close award goes to Johnny, who closed high three times, thereby earning himself both the most high closes, and the highest, with 124.  Andy, also didn’t manage a 180 during the season, meaning that his team-mate Kevin, who had two 180s, takes that title.  Kenny is proud to point out (although it doesn’t show in the table which is why I didn’t at first mention it, Kenny), that he had the highest individual points tally for any one match, with twenty four points, and a table of all the twenty-point players is as follows:
